​Who are we?

The Outdoor Leadership Training also known as O.L.T. hopes to create an avenue to foster appreciation for the outdoors, while emphasizing safety, environmental awareness, minimum impact, personal exploration, group bonding, experiential education, positive interaction, and good times. We also strive to spark the curiosity in being aware of the nature that surrounds us. We aim to inform our students about the safety that it takes to conserve and "Leave No Trace" when camping or backpacking. We believe that youth have the power to change others and the world, this is why we encourage them to lead other young minds to be aware of the beautiful outdoors.

I am grateful for being in this club that High Tech High Chula Vista has offered. I also appreciate the hard work Regina and Laszlo have put to make this class the most safe, informative, and fun for every student that participates. It is truly an amazing experience that many of us get to experience, we hope that in the future we are able to share this experience with even more students at HTHCV.
